1. Preperation is Key

A little preparation goes a long way! Here’s how to gear up based on your track at natHACKS:

  • Set Clear Goals: Think about what you want to achieve – are you looking to learn, innovate, or solve a real-world problem? Set a goal to guide your project’s direction.

  • Explore Big Ideas: Don’t be afraid to think big! What’s a neurotech problem that excites you? Consider how tech can change healthcare, entertainment, or data analysis. Write down some bold project ideas to get your creativity flowing.

  • Brush Up on Basics: Refresh your coding and neurotech fundamentals, and explore tools like GitHub, Figma, or any track-specific software. If you’re new, check out the workshops to get up to speed and spark new ideas.

  • Plan Your Time: Break down tasks to stay organized, but also leave time for creative exploration. Try adding “brainstorm” sessions in your schedule to explore different angles and approaches.

  • Stay Open to Ideas: Be ready to pivot and adapt as you go. Sometimes, the best ideas come from unexpected challenges or feedback – embrace them as opportunities.

  • Connect and Collaborate: Chat with mentors, teammates, and other hackers. Conversations can reveal unique perspectives and inspire new directions for your project.
